Tobacco Free Partnership Welcomes New Board Member
December 1, 2020

The Tobacco Free Partnership of Indian River County is excited to welcome a new board member, Elizabeth Siebert, to the organization.

Elizabeth Siebert grew up in Vero Beach and has a Master of Science. She is a former adjunct faculty member of two colleges, a researcher, and has a nonprofit and art business she runs in her spare time. Both Elizabeth's parents were smokers, and Elizabeth watched both her biological parents and her stepfather suffer from cancer. She joins the Tobacco Free Partnership with a passion for setting others free from the health, heartache, and financial toll smoking takes on her community members. She lost her mother to cancer in 2011; her stepfather and her father are cancer survivors. As a smoke-free individual of 27 years, her motto is: "Tobacco products were not going to own me, so I quit. It is a decision I've never regretted and am proud I made."

The Tobacco Free Partnership is dedicated to providing safe and healthy environments in Indian River County, free from secondhand smoke and tobacco use. If you are interested in learning more about the organization or joining, please contact Kyleigh Savoie at (772)-577-3701 or KSavoie@QuitDoc.com.
